Scope of this policy
Axanti takes personal information protection seriously and works to apply the principles set out in Quebec's privacy modernization framework, commonly referred to as Law 25.
This policy applies to visitors of axanti.ca, axanti.com, axanti.net, and any other website, form, portal or online service operated by Axanti. It also applies to people submitting a form, clients and business contacts related to our web hosting, managed VPS, managed dedicated server, web development, WordPress/WooCommerce, AI & SEO and system administration services.
Axanti is operated by Axanti Inc., a Quebec business providing web, hosting, development and managed services.
Axanti does not sell its clients' personal information.
Information we may collect
When browsing
When you visit the site, certain technical information may be collected automatically to secure the site, measure usage and improve the experience.
- IP address, browser, device, operating system and similar technical information.
- Pages viewed, links clicked, approximate source and site interactions.
- Audience measurement data, for example through Google Analytics when enabled.
- Data required for security checks, including Cloudflare Turnstile when antispam protection is enabled on a form.
When you contact Axanti
Contact, quote and order forms may send us the information you choose to provide.
- Name, company, email address and phone number.
- Requested service, domain name, budget, timeline, technical details and message content.
- Billing or client account information when required to deliver a service.
- Technical credentials or access voluntarily provided for an intervention, migration or managed service.
Online payments are processed by Axanti's payment providers. Axanti does not store full credit card information on the public site.
How information is used
We use collected information only when necessary or reasonably expected as part of the relationship with Axanti.
- Responding to requests, preparing a quote, opening an order or following up on a project.
- Providing, administering, securing and supporting hosting, managed server, development, WordPress/WooCommerce, AI & SEO and system administration services.
- Billing, payment follow-up, renewals, client support and service communications.
- Protecting infrastructure and preventing fraud, abuse, spam, attacks and unauthorized use.
- Producing site usage statistics and improving our content, forms and services.
- Sending commercial communications only where permitted by law or where you have consented.
- Meeting legal, tax, contractual or security obligations.
Cookies and analytics tools
Axanti may use cookies required for site operation, form security, spam prevention and maintaining a browsing session.
Audience measurement tools, such as Google Analytics, may be used only where permitted by law or with the required consent. Where a technology allows identification, location tracking or profiling, Axanti provides appropriate information and does not enable non-essential functions by default when consent is required by law.
You can manage your preferences through the consent banner when displayed, your browser settings or the mechanisms provided by the relevant services.
Personal information governance
Axanti maintains internal rules governing the collection, use, access, retention, destruction and protection of personal information.
Access to personal information is limited to people who need it as part of their duties or to provide a requested service. Complaints related to personal information protection may be sent to the privacy officer.
Axanti complies with applicable requirements for commercial electronic communications, including sender identification and an unsubscribe mechanism where required.
Security, providers and retention
Axanti applies reasonable safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections, access controls, server security practices, logging and backups where relevant.
Some technical providers may process information on Axanti's behalf, for example analytics, email, payment, security, hosting or antispam services. Depending on the provider, information may be processed in Canada, the United States, the European Union or other territories where the provider operates.
Information is retained as long as needed to provide services, process requests, protect infrastructure and meet legal or accounting obligations. Business and billing records are generally retained for up to six years unless another requirement applies. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted, anonymized or securely archived.
If a privacy incident presenting a serious risk of harm occurs, Axanti will take the required measures, including appropriate notices to affected individuals and to Quebec's Commission d'accès à l'information where required by law.
Your rights
Depending on your place of residence and applicable laws, you may request access to the personal information we hold about you, correction, withdrawal, deletion where possible or portability.
You may also withdraw consent for certain uses, subject to obligations we must maintain to provide services, protect systems or comply with the law.
Minors
Axanti does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from individuals under 14. Where required by law, consent from a parent or guardian must be obtained, except where collection is clearly for the minor's benefit.
